The Sony HDR-SR8 has a professional grade Carl Zeiss® Vario-Sonnar® T* lens with 10x optical 20x digital zoom and a 3 megapixel ClearVid™ CMOS sensor. Capture clear video with Super SteadyShot® optical image stabilization, and maintain total control over the focus, exposure, shutter speed and white balance.

The Sony HDR-SR8 works great with the compact  Epic Sport™ Video Camera Housing. 

The Epic Sport™ camera housing adjusts to fit over 350 different video cameras. This is all made possible by the adjustable pause/record mechanism. With a few simple adjustments you can easily change which video camera you are using in the housing.

With all of the PATENT PENDING features that you have come to expect from Epic, like start/stop recording, shock absorbing stabilization tray, and an extra thick haul for added strength when you find yourself in a more extreme conditions.

Epic Camera Housings are designed primarily for use in or near the water. They are recommended for snorkeling, surfing, boating, shallow dives, and any other situation where you camera could come in contact with water.
